Coopers Award

for Best Short Film.  This award is Academy® Accredited

Prize: $5,000 cash. 

Winner:

Yoram Gross Award

for Best Animation Short Film.  This award is Academy® Accredited

Prize: $1,250 cash.

Winner:
I Am So Proud Of You (USA) written, directed and produced by Don Hertzfeld.
National Geographic Award

for  Best Short Documentary Film

Prize: $1,000 cash prize from National Geographic Channel

Winner:
Zietek (Poland), written, directed and produced by Bartosz Blaschke

Film Support & Chaotic Pictures Award

for Most Resourceful Film

Prize: $500 cash from Film Support and $3,000 worth of Red camera hire and Digital Imaging suite time from Chaotic Pictures

AudioLoc Sound Design Award

for Best Achievement in Sound.

Prize: One day sound mix at Audioloc Sound Design's Crystal Palace

Flickerfest IF Media Award

for Audience Choice short Film – Qualifies the winner for nomination in the 2009 IF Awards.

All Australian Films Screening at Flickerfest are eligible for the Inside Film Awards 2009.
